Former H&M employee alleges H&am man accused of rape

HINJIWEHI, Nigeria — An Indian man accused by his former employer of raping a woman at a hotel in Hinshi, the capital of the Borno state, said Tuesday he was “stunned” by the accusation.

“I am shocked,” Anurag Kashyap, the former H&ams employee who claims he was assaulted in February, told reporters at the airport.

“This is the worst experience that I have ever had in my life.”

Kashyap was detained by police on Tuesday after allegedly attacking a woman and leaving her for dead.

He claims he met a man named Anu in October 2015 and she gave him money and food in exchange for sex.

He said the man took her to his hotel room and assaulted her, leaving her with a fractured skull.

The man is accused of having sex with her on two occasions in the same room.

“My name is Anu Kashyaps family and I am a former H &m employee,” Kashyam said.

“Please forgive my mistake.

I will take all necessary steps to take care of my family.

I’m so sorry for my mistake.”

The woman who filed the police complaint against Kashyama said she believes the accusations against Kashys, and that the woman was a prostitute, a rumor she first shared with The Associated Press.

She said she was a friend of Kashyas family and that she was in a relationship with the man who allegedly raped her.

The woman said Kashy’s family is well-off and does not care about the victim.

“They don’t care about their daughter,” she said.

“This is a new world for us, we don’t know what is going on here,” Kashys daughter, Anusha Kashyak, told The Associated Report.

“We want to get out of this nightmare and get justice for our daughter.”

The woman, who did not want to be identified, said her father had worked at H&AMS for two years before leaving in late 2014.
